Star India, the Indian media and entertainment company, has introduced a new general entertainment channel for male viewers in the Tamil Naidu, Vijay Super.
After receiving its licence to launch Vijay Super in the month of March, Star India’s new channel will soon provide different kinds of movies, soaps and sports content (which are on test mode). The channel will be added on the platform of Tata Sky (DTH operator) today and the cable distribution will be sorted.
Vijay Super is actually an official broadcaster of the Tamil Nadu Premier League which started on 24 August. Subscription to the channel will be free of charge until end of July next year but will be priced at 5.25 INR (0.08 USD) on reference interconnect offer (RIO) basis.
